We're getting married and we would be honoured for you to join us!

The ceremony will take place at Smoked Garage in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. For the reception; live music, canapes, drinks, and dancing will follow within the same venue.
We will be live streaming our ceremony for our loved ones who aren't able to join in person. A link will be provided to live stream via ZOOM closer to the date.

About
Both the ceremony and the reception will be held in the one venue in Brisbane: Smoked Garage. If you are wanting more information on the happenings of the Wedding Day; please see the below schedule for the itemised timings.
P.S For those staying a day longer (or local to Brisbane), we are hosting a leisurely brunch on the Saturday after the wedding. This will take place from 11:45 am at the Picnic Island Green in Southbank Parklands and will be an easy going bacon, egg and pastry situation. At the BBQ, all are welcome; all ages, all species (we will be bringing our fur babies). Carbs will be served. You can read more details and RSVP for the Post-Wedding BBQ Brunch here.

After the group shoot is taken, we'll take some photos upstairs with immediate family only. Please make your way down to ground level to enjoy some drinks on us from 4 pm while you wait for us to join you.
4:00 pm | LET'S DANCE!
Smoked Garage
Live music from Bassline Studios Band is set to create the atmosphere for a fun and inhibition-free evening. The bar is open and music has started, enjoy yourselves and we'll see you shortly!
4:30 pm - 5:00 pm | Brides Return

Canapes will be served throughout the evening from 5 pm and unlimited drinks will flow from 4 pm - 7 pm (a cash bar will also be available if you're keen to continue partaking in fun beverages after the 3 hr drinks package ends).

6:00 pm - 10 pm | Photobooth Fun
Mehi Room
Our 360 Photobooth Attendant will be onsite from 6 pm - 10 pm to help you create photos/ GIFs/ videos to remember the evening! We may or may not also have a fabulous tattooer set up in this fairy-light-lit room who is happy to give willing guests lil inky love mementos.

The cupcake chandelier will be stocked, and the wedding cake cut. For those of you keen on something sweet - this is your moment.
11:45 pm | Bride & Bride Depart

We're sure by this stage of the evening our faces will be sore from so much smiling, this is when we will aim to leave the venue and thank you for joining us for a massive day celebrating love.

Getting There
By Car
There is no parking available onsite at Smoked Garage.
Taxi's and Uber are the recommended mode of transport for this particular occasion.
By Flight
We recommend flying into Brisbane Airport, if you'd like to stay local, the venue is located in close to Brisbane's CBD in Fortitude Valley.
UPON ARRIVal
Please arrive at 2:30pm at Smoked Garage for the ceremony to start at 3pm on the upper level of the venue.
The reception (and a joyous night of dancing) will then take place on ground level of the same venue. We can continue celebrating at Smoked Garage until the clock strikes twelve; then it is time to take ourselves home. (Of course you are welcome to party on in the Valley should the mood take you).

What does the mean?... We want you to feel as FABULOUS as possible. Nothing is too extra, too little, or too much.

For the reception... Think CAMP, QUEER, FUN.
We will be changing into sparkles, fringes and cowboy boots. Feel free to join in and bring something comfy, camp, feathered and sparkly to dance freely in throughout the evening.
Our Love Story
Who made the first move? How?​
Channy may have made the first move... but Emily chased her with reckless abandon (even breaking her neck when joining a pro-boxing gym to "accidentally run into her")... The rest is history.

What's your favorite activity together?​
We love love love walking Charlie Muffin and Boots along the Southbank waterfront. We also enjoy training Muay Thai and/or going for runs together.
... And when we're not feeling active, we love ordering in treats and watching movies or trashy reality TV (and discussing the show's villain in so much detail we need to constantly pause what we're watching).

We are regulars at...
Popolo in Southbank. The food is fresh and fantastic (and the Negroni's and Aperol Spritz never disappoint!).
Where are you going for your honeymoon?
Our honeymoon is set to be the trip of a lifetime through EUROPE! We are going over to see Channy's family, then continuing through to see our bucket list and dream destinations for 6 weeks!!!

It's been a big journey. Accepting and nurturing this kind of love has required understanding, dedication, communication, growth and leaps of faith from the two of us... And we wouldn't change it for the world.
For all those of you who are staying a day longer (or local to Brisbane), we are going to setup a leisurely brunch/lunch for Saturday 28th June. Starting at 11:45 am... unsure when we'll wrap up, this is a relaxed event to bask in a little love and winter sun.

The Post-Wedding BBQ Brunch will take place in South Bank Park lands: Picnic Island Green. This spot in South Bank is licensed from 10 am; which means you're welcome to bring drinks if you'd like some. We will provide some bacon, eggs, bread and pastries. If you have specific dietary requirements or want something different, feel free to bring a plate.
All are welcome, that include's kids and pets (we will be bringing our fur babies). The easiest car parking to access the Picnic Island Green in South Bank is off Tribune Street (paid parking). Otherwise, the South Bank Railway and South Bank Busway is only a short walk from this spot.
